Funeral of the Bogdanoff brothers: what Julie Jardon, Igor’s ex-companion, slipped into her coffin

Before bidding farewell to Igor Bogdanoff, Monday January 10, Julie Jardon, his last companion, deposited personal effects in her coffin, as she revealed to Gala.

“He was my lover.” On January 3, Igor Bogdanoff died at the age of 72 as a result of Covid-19. Plunged into a coma a few days earlier, the former host of Time X never knew that his brother Grichka, who was also not vaccinated, had also died a few days before him. Dead six days apart, it is together that they will rest in the small village of Saint-Lary located in the Gers, where they were born. A very symbolic place that they will join, while their funeral took place Monday, January 10 in the Church of the Madeleine in Paris.

Among the personalities present, Cyril Hanouna, who was close to the Bogdanoff brothers, but also Luc Ferry, as well as Amélie Bourbon de Parme, the ex-wife of Igor Bogdanoff, with whom he had two children. But also Julie Jardon, his last companion, whom he had met in 2015. At the time, the young woman then aged 20 had fallen under the spell of the one whomshe describes as “a pillar”, which notably helped her through difficult times, such as the death of her mother in 2020. Despite separations, including a complaint filed by Julie Jardon in 2017 and arguments, the two lovers have always remained close. So much so that she left symbolic objects in her coffin.

Julie Jardon, “devastated” by the death of Igor Bogdanoff

I placed photos in the coffin. Leave a trace of what we’ve been to each other … for seven years, she confided to Gala, she in the future is now doing “a little scared” without Igor Bogdanoff. “I lost my bearings, I dread the next day. The first three days after her death, I took refuge with my best friend”, she confides, specifying that she then “looks good” to delay “the feeling of [sa] loss”. “But when I found myself alone I was devastated. I have sleepless nights. I think about all those times, all those breakfasts that I will have without him.”, breathes Julie Jardon, who turned off her phone several days after the death of her companion.
