G2 Esports should sell its LVP slot soon

According to sources cited by Blix.gg, G2 Esports is about to sell its LVP slot, the Spanish league. In effect, G2 Arcticthe academic team of the German-Spanish European structure, could leave the Superliga in 2023, before the start of the next Summer Split, due to the end of the agreement between G2 and Arctic Gaming, initiated in 2020.

Arctic’s future on the Spanish esports scene is not known at this time, but this change should pave the way for a new team for the next segment of the competition, including FC Sevilla who, like other football clubs in Spain, would be very interested in League of Legends. Several second division teams have already expressed an interest in buying the franchise.

For its part, G2 Esports could send its academy to another structure, or even another league. Why not in Germany, or even on the side of the biggest ERL league currently, the LFL. In the meantime, G2 Arctic finished in 5th place in the playoffs and failed to qualify for EUM 2022while its main structure is qualified for the Worlds 2022.
