This is an announcement that has been expected since the resignation of Prime Minister Elisabeth Borne on Monday, January 8. A resignation accepted by the President of the Republic, Emmanuel Macron, who began looking for his successor. The head of state did not take long to find it since this Tuesday morning, he inducted Gabriel Attal, until now Minister of National Education and Youth. Quite a promotion for the politician born in Clamart (Hauts-de-Seine), only 34 years old and who has access to the most important function in government.

Since his appointment as Prime Minister, his ex Stéphane Séjourné reacted on social networks, congratulating him on his new position. “I welcome the appointment of Gabriel Attal. We need his talent to pursue our political commitments. Thanks to Elisabeth Borne for all the work accomplished”, he wrote. Under the spotlight for several hours now, the question of the young politician’s assets arises and many wonder what the man whose discreet mother, Marie de Couriss, is a descendant of a line of nobles, really owns. If we are to believe the information revealed by BFM Business today, his assets consist mainly of financial assets.
