The former partner of actor Gaspard Ulliel, who tragically died in a skiing accident on January 19, has decided to get involved with the Tara Ocean Foundation, which aims to develop open, innovative and unprecedented science before to predict and better anticipate the impact of climate change. Very involved in the preservation of the environment, the model has challenged herself to live an adventure with Tara Ocean, an initiative that was close to his heart to take after the disappearance of the actor.
It all starts on February 19, 2022, when Orso’s mother commits to this foundation to pay tribute to Gaspard Ulliel, who died at only 37 years old. “Gaspard was a diver, sensitive to climate issues and concerned about the protection of underwater biodiversityhe would have liked the momentum aroused by his disappearance to go to the defense of these causes that were close to his heart. We wanted to honor his memory by contributing to the association“, she explained at the time. She therefore decided to combine words with deeds by making a crossing aboard a boat of the foundation.

But the least we can say is that not everything went as she had imagined. This Wednesday, November 2, she told her beginning of the adventure on her Instagram account: “Crossing with the crew to pay homage to you, G”, she wrote then, far from imagining that her experience was going to get really complicated. Because in a recent story, Gaëlle Pietri filmed the terrible weather conditions during her trip. “The calm after 35 hours of storm”, she writes on a photo of the boat at night, with part of the team in the background. But despite the difficulty of these two days braving the storm, she decided not to give up. If the sea can sometimes be cruel, Gaëlle Pietri’s abnegation is even stronger.
