Touching encounter between Gal Gadot and an ardent "Wonder Woman" fan. On one TV show, the actress nearly cried.

"Wonder Woman" star Gal Gadot (35) fought back tears on the BBC program "The One Show". A six-year-old girl was switched on in a "Wonder Women" costume in the hospital bed and explained that Gadot and her film character were the reason not to give up despite a serious illness. "You helped me keep fighting and even living with my muscular dystrophy. You inspired me to do my exercises," said Carmela Chillery Watson.

Throughout September, the girl and her mother walked one kilometer every day disguised as a "Wonder Woman" to collect donations for the fight against the disease. Gadot became aware of the action back then and tweeted that Carmela was a real superhero. With glassy eyes and a shaky voice, she said now: "Carmela is a true 'Wonder Woman'."

The girl fights so incredibly and doesn't let anyone stop her. For Gadot it is inconceivable that as a person she is lucky enough to be able to play such a role and that she therefore experiences such great love. She was actually just a simple actress, the Israeli said.
