Setting up a new device is often difficult. Data has to be transferred from the old to the new model and settings have to be painstakingly readjusted. However, switching from an old to a new cell phone has lost its terror in recent years – also thanks to tools such as Smart Switch from Samsung.
The manufacturer is now also releasing this for its “Galaxy Book” laptop series. You should be able to quickly and easily transfer documents, videos, pictures and even apps from the Microsoft Store from an old laptop to your new computer. The whole thing should work wirelessly and regardless of the manufacturer of your old laptop.
Samsung announced the tool at its MWC press conference alongside the Galaxy Book 2 Pro series.
According to Samsung, the program is designed for Windows 11, but can also be used under Windows 10. But then the data transfer is only possible via a cable.
