With stars from “Sixth Sense” and the “Addams Family” films: Netflix has announced the new cast for season 2 of “Wednesday”.
Filming for the second season of “Wednesday” with Jenna Ortega (21) has started. Netflix announced the good news in a press release. Accordingly, the first release has just been made in Ireland for the next round of the streaming service’s most successful English-language series. The scripts are said to have been secret, and on set she handed out a fan favorite: the “ice-cold hand” Thing. By the way, the hand belongs to the actor and magician Victor Dorobantu (27).
Thing is also the star of a new Tik Tok channel that Netflix set up to start filming. It’s appropriately called “Thing Tok” and shows everything related to the hit series from the perspective of the severed hand.

With the start of filming, Netflix also confirmed the actors for the second season. This confirms the rumor that Steve Buscemi (66) will join the ensemble. However, Netflix did not confirm this and the streamer did not provide any information about the roles of the newcomers.

Christopher Lloyd as Uncle Fester again?
But the biggest coup is the signing of Christopher Lloyd (85). He not only played Doc Brown in the “Back to the Future” films, but also in “Addams Family”. In the major film adaptation of Charles Addams cartoons from 1991 he played Uncle Fester, as well as in the sequel “The Addams Family in Crazy Tradition” (1993).
Now Christopher Lloyd comes to the “Addams Family” spin-off “Wednesday”. However, not in the role of Uncle Fester. Fred Armisen (57) embodies him in the series. And Netflix has confirmed him as a returnee, as have Jenna Ortega, Catherine Zeta-Jones (54) and Luis Guzmán (67).
