Samsung still doesn’t include a power adapter in its Galaxy S23 boxes, with the smartphones only shipping with a USB-C cable. Users are therefore forced to buy one separately if they want to charge their device from a wall outlet.
While Samsung just launched its Galaxy S23 and S23+ last night, but especially its Galaxy S23 Ultra, the release of smartphones was once again an opportunity to see that Samsung hasn’t changed its mind about including chargers in the box of its devices.
The Korean giant had decided to follow Apple’s strategy with its Galaxy S21s, by removing the mains adapter from the boxes of its smartphones. Smartphone manufacturers would have taken this initiative for ecological reasons, because not all customers necessarily use the chargers delivered with their smartphonesbut this still poses a new problem, since it now has to be purchased separately.

Which chargers for the Galaxy S23?
If the Galaxy S23 has to make do with a 25W charger, the Galaxy S23+ and S23 Ultra can charge up to 45 W. In practice, the difference is not really significant, but it is still worth choosing the fastest charger possible.
On its website, Samsung now sells power adapters without cables, which greatly reduced the price of the charger. These are now available at 19.90 euros for the 25 W version. However, at the time of writing, the 45W charger without cable is not available, forcing you to opt for the version with a cable at 49.90 euros.
