Galaxy S24: artificial intelligence galore for the next Samsung smartphones

Generative artificial intelligence, democratized by ChatGPT, has been shaking up the tech world for almost a year. Smartphones mainly benefit from this through dedicated applications. However, the situation should change in the coming months. We recently learned that Apple planned to introduce AI with the iOS 18 update. A new report now specifies that Samsung would implement it directly in its Galaxy S24.

AI, here it is for the Galaxy S24

In a new publication, SamMobile shared Samsung’s ambitions in terms of artificial intelligence.

In details, we learn that the Galaxy S24s would include features based on ChatGPT and Google Bard. SamMobile thus evokes the possibility of “creating content and stories from a few keywords provided by the user”.

Samsung has also developed its own generative AI features, such as the transformation of prompts into images – as revealed during the officialization of the Exynos 2400 chip. The site explains that many of the AI functions will be available both in online and offline.

Bixby would then benefit from improvements linked to artificial intelligence. They would allow it to offer “more human and more intelligent conversations with the user”. Perhaps this development will finally offer real interest to consumers so that they are interested in Samsung’s voice assistant.

Finally, Samsung’s Galaxy S24s would give Google’s Pixels a slight boost by being “faster in performing AI tasks”. This development would simply be due to the presence of more powerful chips, the Exynos 2400 and the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3.

For information, the Galaxy S24s are expected at the start of 2024. Samsung has also brought forward the launch date compared to the previous generation.
