Galaxy S24: Darty unveils French prices before Samsung’s announcement of smartphones

While the presentation date of the Galaxy S24 is now known, leaks concerning the design of the South Korean giant’s future smartphones or even their technical sheet have spoiled the suspense maintained by Samsung.

After the announcement of the European prices for this new generation of Galaxy S last week, the famous brand Darty revealed the price of the Galaxy S24, S24+ and S24 Ultra on the French market in the rules of a new competition.

The price of the Samsung Galaxy S24 revealed by Darty

Via a Twitter/X postDarty announces: “To mark the release of the brand’s new products, try to win the new Samsung Galaxy S smartphones”. This statement is followed by a link redirecting to a web page dedicated to the competition.

On it, we find, without much surprise, several mentions relating to artificial intelligence, such as “Galaxy AI is coming” already employed by Samsung or even “The next smartphone AI revolution is coming”. As a reminder, AI is at the heart of the Galaxy S24, as we have been able to discover in recent weeks through multiple information leaks, and even from the mouth of Samsung on the occasion of the officialization of its artificial intelligence Gauss.

The page also includes a registration form, but above all a regulation rich in information. Darty indeed mentions the different prizes of this competition and their value. We can thus read that the sign puts into play: “A Samsung smartphone with a unit value of €899”, another worth €1,169 and a last worth €1,499.

These prices are very close to the European prices which leaked last week, more precisely to those of the basic models: the Galaxy S24 in 128 GB, the Galaxy S24+ in 256 GB and the Galaxy S24 Ultra in 256 GB. We also note that the Galaxy S24+ and S24 Ultra would cost €20 more than the rest of the European market.
