SAMSUNG GALAXY S24

Samsung should again use different processors for the Galaxy S24, depending on the location. In these regions, the flagships could again have their own Exynos chipset.

  • Samsung could again use different processors for the Galaxy S24, depending on the region.
  • In Southeast Asia and Europe, an Exynos chip could be in place of a Snapdragon processor.
  • The last time there were performance differences in the computing units.

Unlike the Galaxy S23, Samsung has installed different processors in the Galaxy S22 depending on the region, which differed in terms of performance. With the growing rumors about a new Exynos 2400 processor in the Galaxy S24, the question naturally also arises as to whether Samsung will fall back into old patterns and will make the processor decision for the next top smartphone for buyers again. @Tech_Reve on Twitter thinks it’s likely.

According to him, Southeast Asia will not get a new Snapdragon SoC for Galaxy, but the Exynos 2400. In Europe, too, Samsung’s own chip would probably be found in the Galaxy S24 again. Samsung is said to continue working on its own high-end chipset, so you can still hope for a powerful SoC from South Korea.

Not everyone agrees with this prognosis. You can see that in the comments. For example, some hope that the South Korean manufacturer will still use a Snapdragon in their region, at least for the Ultra version.
