Samsung could well be accused once again of copying Apple by resuming the use of a material which first appeared on iPhone 15.

Samsung’s new smartphones, the Galaxy S24, could well arrive next January. And if 3 months still separate us from their launch, more and more rumors are being shared with us about the form that these phones should take, whether in terms of their borders or the materials that would go into their production.

Titanium, the new fashionable material?

Apple has designed its new iPhone 15 with a new titanium frame, which should notably make the smartphone lighter. This change has not escaped its long-time rival, Samsung. According to leaker Revegnus on X.com, the next Galaxy S24s should also benefit from this innovation.

He also wanted to ensure that the titanium frame would be used for the three models that will be released, while the leaker Ice Universe predicts for his part that only the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra would be entitled to the addition of this element.

Multiple sources of supply

To support his remarks, the leaker adds that Samsung will solicit several different sources of supply in order to achieve its goal. The titanium frame for the base model of the Galaxy S24 would thus be manufactured directly on its production site located in Vietnam, while the frames intended for the Galaxy S24+ and Ultra will be made by other suppliers.

This rumor could in any case reassure fans of the brand. Lately, the news that has fallen on the Web has not been particularly auspicious, with in particular the impasse made, it seems, on a 10x periscopic zoom for the Samsung Galaxy S24, and a new processor less powerful than ‘expected.
