A stone’s throw from its formalization, let’s find out without further delay what the Galaxy Watch 6 Classic will have in store for us in terms of design and functionality.
Because yes, Samsung’s future high-end connected watch has just been revealed through a few renderings.
The next Galaxy Watch is revealed (already) in pictures
This year, Samsung could exceptionally speak a little earlier than usual. If the Korean manufacturer had so far accustomed us to set its summer meeting during the month of August, it could hold its famous Galaxy Unpacked this year from July in order to lift the veil on its new products. The Galaxy Z Flip5 and Z Fold5 are obviously expected there, but we should also find out what the next generation of connected watches from the manufacturer will have in store for us.
Of course, and as is often the case, the Galaxy Watch 6 Classic could not wait until July to reveal its curves to us. Our colleagues on the site Wccftech shared a preview of the first renderings of Samsung’s future connected watch.
Galaxy Watch 6 Classic: the return of the rotating bezel?
It’s at OnLeaks And MySmartPrice that we owe these first visuals of Samsung’s future smartwatch, and more specifically of its Classic variant. As you can see from the images above and below, this one sports a cute black dress. Its strap appears to be made of silicone, and the metal case has a PVD coating. It will probably be equipped with a 1.47-inch Super AMOLED screen, covered with sapphire crystal and a rotating bezel (well, then). Yes, remember that the latter was absent subscribers on the Galaxy Watch 5 released last year.
In terms of functionality, the Galaxy Watch 6 Classic should have a gyroscope and various sensors to measure your heart rate, as most connected watches do these days. It’ll be introduced alongside the Galaxy Watch 6 in the coming weeks (though chances are we’ll learn more about them very soon).

- Premium materials
- Beautiful and readable screen in all circumstances
- WearOS + OneUI = winning formula
Of all the WearOS connected watches, the Galaxy Watch 5 Pro is certainly the best at the moment. Too bad it’s so thick and requires a Samsung mobile to deliver its full potential.
