A big New Year’s promotion is starting in Samsung’s online shop. As part of this, the South Korean manufacturer is reducing the price of many of its products – including the current smartwatch models Galaxy Watch 6 and Galaxy Watch 6 Classic. Samsung is advertising a price discount of up to 80 euros for the Classic model; according to Samsung, you can save at least 30 euros for the basic version.
But that’s not all. On top of that, Samsung is also giving you the new Galaxy Buds FE. The in-ear headphones were only introduced in October 2023 and currently cost around 80 euros online. That sounds like a lucrative offer, right?

In fact, the deal is only worth it to a limited extent. Because Samsung is charging at least 289 euros for the Galaxy Watch 6 as part of the campaign, you can get the Watch 6 Classic from 359 euros. Both versions are available cheaper from other retailers. The savings mentioned by Samsung do not refer to the offers from other retailers, but to the recommended retail price for the market launch in summer 2023. The best price for the Watch 6 online is currently 216 euros, for the Classic version it is 260 euros.
Buying from Samsung is only worthwhile for you if you are also interested in the Galaxy Buds FE. Then, depending on the variant, you may save a few euros compared to buying it individually. Before you buy, do a price comparison again; depending on the option you choose, buying it individually can also be cheaper. The Samsung offer is valid until January 30, 2024.
