Over three hours, 32 awards were presented during the ceremony, including of course Game of the Year.
Among the favorites of the competition, we had of course Elden Ring and God of War Ragnarok (even though Horizon Forbidden Westas well as A Plague Tale: Requiem and stray, two French games, also shone in the nominations), which won numerous awards. But which of the two titans finally obtained the ultimate title of the event? Answer below.
32 categories and some surprises
For the sake of completeness, we will present each category one by one with its associated winner, and list the nominees, in order to provide an overview. It should be noted that 31 categories were established by a jury bringing together mainly sites and members of the press specializing in video games.
A traditional separate category intended for the “Voice of the players” was also part of the game, the winner of which was decided by a vote on the official website of the Game Awards. If the result may surprise you, it is apparently because the vote in question would have suffered from bugs and potential external influences…
