An Australian player, known as Simon, spent a total of 833 days – more than 21,000 hours – on the video game Sid Meier’s Civilization V before finally giving his opinion on the game’s Steam page. Published on December 31, 2022, his evaluation is enough to make us smile: “I guess the first 20,000 hours of gameplay were nice…” he wrote. A comment which quickly caused the gaming community to react, amused by Simon’s titanic investment in the software designed by Firaxis Games.
