Two of Steam’s most anticipated titles are coming very soon and they are two survival games with completely different atmospheres

Palworld and Enshrouded, which are among the most anticipated games on the Steam platform, according to SteamDB data, are officially arriving this week, both in early access. The first has a very interesting proposition: you have to collect Pals, adorable creatures that look like Pokémon but have a multitude of functions. Everything comes to life in an open world of survival where several activities are offered from agriculture to Pal breeding, including the construction of buildings. Release scheduled for January 19.

For its part, Enshrouded offers a post-apo world where players must rebuild society and face dangers that take the form of creatures. The construction is based on Voxel technology which offers customization. Another notable detail: the game offers multiplayer play, with cooperation for up to 16 players. Release scheduled for January 24.

Those nostalgic for the first Xbox will be delighted! This controller will make a comeback

Xbox gamers will probably be delighted with the news: Hyperkin is bringing back a retro Xbox game controller in two colors, black and white. The “DuchesS” controller, as it is called, is compatible with Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S and Windows 10 and 11. It benefits from a USB-C port, a 3.5 mm headphone jack, and a Share button. The pad also features Hall effect joysticks and triggers, which provides greater resistance to general wear and tear. For now, the release date and price remain unknown.

“It was just a warm-up”, CD Projekt more confident than ever for the sequel to Cyberpunk 2077

The developers of CD Projekt Red are promising very heavy things for the sequel to Cyberpunk 2077, still called “Project Orion” for the moment. On Twitter, the game’s narrative director, Igor Sarzynski, took the time to talk about his very first day in the studio’s new offices in Boston:

First day in the Boston office! It’s a pleasure to meet old friends and officially launch our Orion project. I couldn’t be more excited for this project and I’m sure we can make something special out of it. 2077 was just a warm-up

“2077 was just a warm-up,” he says, which is bound to excite players who are eager to learn more about Orien. Cyberpunk 2077 concluded with a highly praised expansion, Phantom Liberty, featuring the hugely popular Idris Elba alongside Keanu Reeves. The game still continually inherits updates; Lately, for example, you could listen to the radio in pedestrian mode and take the metro.

This horror video game, a PS1 classic, could come to PS Plus Premium

Fans of horror games, this rumor is for you: Alone in the Dark: The New Nightmare, an absolutely cult period game, could arrive in the PS Plus Premium catalog. It’s simply a leak that suggested the PS1 horror game could be coming to the service. Remember that Alone in the Dark: The New Nightmare is the fourth episode of the Alone in the Dark series. The protagonists Edward Carnby and Aline Cedrac investigate the mysterious disappearance of a professor and his daughter on the island of Shadow Island.

Towards a revival of Starfield? A huge update is coming very soon

Big news for the 2023 space RPG: Bethesda will start the new year by bringing its biggest update which will bring more than 100 improvements/corrections to Starfield, enough to make people happy. On the program, count on corrected quests, deleted bugs, additions but also graphical improvements. An update initially planned for January 17 for Steam players who wish it. It will then arrive two weeks later to all PC and console users. The game may not have been the critical success that Microsoft would have liked, but the American firm hopes to do its best to make 2024 the year of Starfield.
