Character editors are a favorite pastime for players who let their creativity flow, even by accident.

Five months after its release, Starfield continues to occupy time. By probably spending long hours on the Starfield character editor, this player managed to reconstruct a character who more or less resembles (it’s up to you to judge) Dana Scully from the science fiction series The Files, this FBI agent played by the iconic Gillian Anderson. As a reminder, X Files, Chris Carter’s series, follows the investigations of FBI special agents Fox Mulder and Dana Scully who handle X-rated files, unsolved cases that involve paranormal phenomena of all kinds.

Reddit user h8m8, who created this custom protagonist, explains that he actually “accidentally” reproduced Dana Scully. It was enough to attract the attention of Bethesda, including that of one of the company’s community managers, Jess, who believes that the author “really nailed Scully’s skeptical look.” In any case, if you wanted to reproduce the character, note that the player has not shared a tutorial and that the task will not be easy given the number of features included in the character creator.

The Starfield avatar editor is relatively complete, allowing precise hero creations. Body, mouth, teeth, jaw, chin… it’s all there. The background and trait lists are also rich in possibilities.
