The latest update of Palworld, the survival game that caused a sensation at the start of the year, is not unanimous.

Survival video games are very popular at the moment. Palworld was born in January and created a real phenomenon, before being followed by Enshrouded, more focused on its RPG aspect, and by Nightingale. The Pocket Pair title has won over a large number of players thanks to its vast universe, its very easy access to its plethora of creatures (named Pals). A true phenomenon, impressive records have been reached with several million Internet users who have fallen under the spell of this license. These feats are all the more impressive when we know that Palworld was only released in early access a few weeks ago. In other words, this title enjoys great popularity even though players have not yet discovered its full version… That promises!

What’s more, the developers listen to player feedback and strive to release updates regularly. The objective is to improve the experience of those who tread these pals-filled lands, by removing bugs as much as possible. Unfortunately, they are not rare, especially in early access. These updates are well received by players, except the most recent which created a wave of discontent.

An update that adds a problem in Palworld

Unfortunately, not all updates bring only positive things, like the last one from Palworld which does not enchant players. It adds limitations regarding the reproduction of pals. When players breed their adorable creatures, they ensure they lose one of the negative traits. Thus, the crossing of these familiars makes it possible to get rid of a disadvantage which could be handicapping during the game. However, the latest update no longer allows these passive traits to be removed via mating. Quickly, fans made their dissatisfaction known on social networks, saying they wanted a return to the past. Very attentive to player reactions, Pocket Pair responded: “We will go back, but it will take a day or two to deploy it.”

Many are unsure whether this is a bug or a voluntary limitation by the developers. In any case, this problem will be resolved in a few days, once again proving the attention that the Pocket Pair team pays to its community.
