While the name Sam Barlow may not mean anything to you, the games he worked on definitely speak to you. Father of Silent Hill Origins and the excellent Silent Hill: Shattered Memories, he made a name for himself with the success of Her Story in 2015, an FMV investigation game which received a score of 86/100 on Metacritic. Recently, the British game designer and screenwriter shone with Immortality, a new interactive FMV experience that we absolutely recommend you do. It is via a publication by Sam Barlow on X/Twitter that we learn that Immortality, known under the name of “Project A” For “Project Ambrosio”, is part of a roadmap of the strange drawn by the famous creator. On the way we find “Project B” For “Project Bastille”, a game currently paused about the French revolution, but also “Project C”, a new FMV production, and finally “Project D”, a software that will “reinventing the third-person horror game” according to the designer’s words. This famous “Project D” already has a dedicated page on Steam. The latter is enigmatic and has redacted elements. We can read there a few words like “something bad” or “House” in the description. Word “doors” comes up twice. In category “about this game”, we can read that Project D is a survival horror by Sam Barlow. “1983”, “nurse“, And “nightmare” are also readable. Silent Hill, did you say Silent Hill? The images are also very strange. There is one that shows an open eye on a red background with the word “America” above.

We will now have to be patient before learning more about this future survival horror from the father of Silent Hill: Shattered Memories.
