Game of Thrones: the interpreter of Jaime Lannister does not want to watch House of the Dragon

Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, the interpreter of Jaime Lanniser in “Game of Thrones”, revealed that he tried but failed to watch the prequel to the series, “House of the Dragon”.

Like Emilia Clarke, another iconic interpreter of Game of Thrones reveals that she has not yet watched the prequel to the series, titled House of the Dragon. During an interview given to Entertainment WeeklyNikolaj Coster-Waldau – the interpreter of Jaime Lannister – revealed that he was unable to go beyond the credits of the series!

The Danish actor did not, however, put ill will into it, but it is probably too early for the latter to benefit from the necessary perspective to appreciate the program, although its plot is set two centuries before the adventures of his character.

“I didn’t see it. One day when it was airing I saw the credits and it was weird because it’s the same music and the credits are pretty much the same. And I was like ‘ah It’s too soon, much too soon” he notably confided to our American colleagues.

However, Nikolaj Coster-Waldau does not rule out watching the series in the future, but would prefer to wait until several seasons are available to be able to binge-watch it. This is also quite good since it seems that a development over four seasons is being studied by the HBO channel.

During a previous interview, khaleesi Emilia Clarke revealed that she hasn’t watched the series because watching it would make her feel “to go to a reunion of former students from a different class than his own”.

Coming soon to the Marvel series Secret Invasion, the British actress did not specify whether or not she intends to watch House of the Dragon, or if her story with the universe of the Iron Throne ended with filming the final season of Game of Thrones.

Remember that the eight seasons of Game of Thrones, as well as the first season of its prequel House of the Dragon, are now available on Amazon Prime Video, via the Warner Pass subscription.
