gameplay that will delight tennis fans

To continue to increase players’ excitement, Top Spin 2K25 has unveiled a new video that promises wonders. We will clearly have plenty to do.

In exactly a month, we will be able to get our hands on Top Spin 2K25. The new opus which marks the return of the franchise. She will have remained in the shadows for a while, but that’s it, she will soon come back from the dead. 2K Games and Hangar 13 know that the community is excited to return to the court. But we still have to wait a little before the official release. To help ease the wait, we were treated to a long video presentation of the content that will be offered in the game. And it makes you salivate.

Top Spin 2K25 continues to make our mouths water

The minds behind Top Spin 2K25 have decided to publish a series of videos where the developers talk about various aspects of the game. This is an excellent initiative, given that it allows us to highlight the creators, as well as the experience that awaits us. So here we are dealing with the first video, called “Centre Court Report”. It’s Rémi Ercolani, the director, and Jesse Scott, Associate Principal Designer, who offer us an overview of the game mechanics, but also of the roster and the terrains that will be available.

We learn that there will be a total of 48 unique courts. Of course, that includes the four Grand Slam tournaments and the nine ATP Masters 1000s, to name just a few. Suffice to say that things were not done by halves. We are then treated to a short match between Roger Federer and Daniil Medvedev at the Indian Wells Tennis Garden. An ideal setting to highlight the gameplay of Top Spin 2K25. The idea is to emphasize the importance of sensations during games, and the work on player animations. The result is rather convincing.

On the menu, we are reminded that there will be new signature animations, with a demonstration for that of Federer. The latter even did motion capture for Top Spin 2K25, which shows you the investment. Generally speaking, this video also serves to introduce the many new features of this suite. We’ll let you discover all this below, and don’t forget, the appointment is set for April 26, 2024 on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S.
