Riber: Turnover up 20% in the first quarter


(CercleFinance.com) – Riber, a manufacturer of equipment for the semiconductor industry, reported on Friday a turnover up 20% to 4.5 million euros for the first quarter.

The specialist in molecular beam epitaxy (MBE) specifies that its MBE systems activity increased by 6% to reach two million euros, which corresponds to the billing for one machine.

The turnover of services and accessories recorded growth of 35% to amount to 2.5 million euros.

Riber, which carries out 71% of its activity in Europe, 21% in Asia and 8% in North America, indicates that its total order book amounted to 34.4 million euros at the end of March, an increase of 4% over one year.

Regarding its outlook, Riber says it expects continued growth in its turnover and profitability for the 2024 financial year.

The company plans to communicate an annual revenue forecast at the end of the first half of 2024.

Following this publication, the action fell by 0.7% on Friday on the Paris Stock Exchange.
