This year again, the association FuturoLAN will organize the Gamers Assembly at the Poitiers exhibition center. The first one LAN-party of France will take place from March 30 to April 1more than 2,000 professional and amateur players are expected to participate in 17 tournaments throughout the weekend.
Like he usually does, there Gamers Assembly will therefore put the competitions in the spotlight, but the program will be variedto seduce any audience, with VRof cosplay, conferences, famous guests and of course the famous seniors tournament. Moreover, Optical 2000 and visually impaired pro player Salim Ejnaïm will present “a unique mobility aid device for visually impaired people”, a belt designed by the start-up Artha to compete against able-bodied players on stage in the racing game Trackmania.
- Around twenty large-scale esports tournaments : the second stage of the Nexus Tour of League of Legends, the third stage of the Open Tour France of Valorant, the first stage of the Hex Tour of Teamfight Tactics, Rainbow Six Siege, the Super Smash Bros. Ultimate AGON by AOC Trophy, Counter-Strike 2, Halo Infinite, Overwatch 2, Osu!, the finals of the “ABENA Tournament” of the Afrogameuses association, and many others!
- The game’s Arenas : a welcoming space for young and old with many activities offered such as virtual reality, retrogaming, Dance Dance Revolution dance mats, arcade machines, a Minecraft space. You will also be able to enjoy pop culture events linked to your favorite films like Harry Potter, and their gaming variation, also discover independent video games or even meet small local creators!
- Cosplay competition : immerse yourself in the creative world of cosplay, explore the art of transforming into your favorite characters and let yourself be inspired by the passion of cosplayers through two competitions which will take place on the main stage of the Gamers Assembly: the Tournament of Champions who will once again set down their bags at the Poitiers exhibition center for the French selection of the competition, on Saturday March 30 at 5 p.m. and the Gamers Assembly Cosplay Competition, a true tradition for cosplay in France, organized with TRY HARD WORKSHOP and The League of Extraordinary Cosplayers, Sunday March 31 at 2 p.m.
- Silver Geek Senior Trophy : the best seniors in the Nouvelle-Aquitaine Region will be there on the big stage to win the coveted title of regional champion!
- Conferences and round tables : training, inclusion, diversity, be curious and discover the different aspects of video games alongside renowned speakers!
