Xbox is a regular at gamescom, sometimes for live events, often to present productions to the public via a stand at the Koelnmesse. It will be back in Cologne from August 23-27, 2023, but unlike 2021 or other past editions, there will be no conference to follow at a particular time.
The manufacturer will, however, communicate with its online fans on occasion of streams about 3 hours on Twitchwhich will take place on Wednesday 23, Thursday 24 and Friday 25 August. They will make it possible to present recent and future productions in the presence of the developers, a priori without any particular announcement, but we are not immune to anything. Players present on site from the 24th to the 27th will be able to try around thirty titles on more than 150 game terminals, including 25 presented by partners, such as STALKER 2, Payday 3, ebb, Party Animals, Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty, Under the Waves Or Persona 5 Tactica. A theater that can accommodate up to 300 people will also be used for presentations hands off of Starfield, Forza Motorsport, Ava: History Untold, Towerborneor the next extensions of The Elder Scrolls Online And Microsoft Flight Simulator.
The most invested fans can try to win their ticket for the Xbox FanFest which will take place on August 23 at 8:30 p.m. and will be broadcast live on social networks, while the developers have an appointment on this same date to meet the manufacturer as part of the Community Clubhouse. We are so excited to be able to meet Xbox gamers at gamescom in Cologne, Germany in August with even more amazing and quality fan events!
It’s the fans that make gamescom the biggest gaming event in the world, and we’re delighted to welcome you this year with the biggest booth we’ve ever had at gamescom. Attendees will be able to experience a slew of exciting new games coming to Xbox, PC and Game Pass, as well as great photoshoot opportunities and the return of Xbox FanFest.
If you can’t make it to Cologne this year, don’t worry. We’ll bring the Xbox booth right to your doorstep, with in-depth analysis, gameplay, and developer interviews streamed live over the three days of the show. We are impatient !

The Xbox Booth
Have you ever been told that the Xbox booth is bigger than ever this year? Because it is! More than 30 titles await players on the stand, spread over more than 150 game terminals, photo shoots and incredible experiences, as well as a 300-seat theater specially built for the occasion.
Attendees will be able to attend exclusive presentations of Starfield, the highly anticipated game from Bethesda Game Studios, as well as upcoming games from Xbox Game Studios, Forza Motorsport from and developers at Turn 10 Studios, as well as Ara: History Untold from the design team. ‘OxideGames. Towerborne, the new adventure from developers Stoic unveiled at the Xbox Showcase, will premiere, and we’ll see the latest content from The Elder Scrolls Online and Microsoft Flight Simulator.
More than 25 titles from our third-party partners and our friends ID@Xbox will be playable on the stand. This includes world premieres of STALKER 2 from GSC Game World, Payday 3 from Overkill Software and Starbreeze Studios, Jusant recently announced from DontNod, Armored Core VI: Fires of Rubicon from FromSoftware, Party Animals from Recreate Games, Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty from CD Projekt RED, Under the Waves from Spotlight by Quantic Dreams, Persona 5 Tactica from Sega Atlus and many more.
Attendees can also come and help us celebrate 10 years of ID@Xbox and check out a diverse range of ID@Xbox titles on demo, such as Paradox’s Lamplighter’s League, Thunderful’s SteamWorld Build, Amplifier’s Lightyear Frontier, and more. more besides. We ensure that all areas of the booth are wheelchair accessible, and Xbox Adaptive controllers will be available upon request, as will some demo stations with height-adjustable desks. We will also have several American Sign Language (ASL) and German Sign Language (DGS) interpreters, as well as Here to Help staff to assist players of all abilities. In addition, we will have sensory aids and a rest room for those who need them.
