Gamescom Award 2023: You can vote for these nominated games

The Gamescom 2023 will take place soon and will start with the Opening Night Live Show, where the first Gamescom Award will be presented for the Green Studio of the Year.

From the show until August 24 at 2 p.m. you can then vote on which Gamescom 2023 game highlights will receive one of the awards. Some titles like Mortal Kombat 1, Tekken 8 or Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom are nominated.

If you want to vote on the Gamescom Awards 2023, you can do so via the Gamescom website. You will then find out the winners during the Gamescom Award Show on August 25th.

If you’re at the exhibition center on Friday because I got hold of a Gamescom ticket, you can be there live at the award ceremony in Hall 8. The show starts at 2 p.m.

Most Entertaining

These five titles have been nominated for the Gamescom Award in the “Most Entertaining” category.

Best gameplay

• Armored Core VI: Fires of Rubicon
• Paper Trail
• Shadow Gambit
• The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom
• The Wandering Village

Most Epic

• Armored Core VI: Fires of Rubicon
• Black MythWukong
• Dwarf Fortress

• The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom

High in the nominations is Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. In the case of the Nintendo title that has already been published, it was enough for four different nominations.

Over 30 games have been nominated in a total of 15 categories, but Armored Core 6: Fires of Rubicon is the most popular. The title is listed in seven different categories.

Most Wholesome

These five games are nominated for the Gamescom Awards in the Most Wholesome category.

Games for Impact

• A Space for the Unbound
• related
• Dead Pets Unleashed
• Fall of Porcupine
• Sky: Children of the Light

There are separate awards for the platform categories. Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is nominated for Best Switch Game, while Mortal Kombat 1 is named Best Xbox and PlayStation Games. In the PS games, however, the title also competes against Tekken 8.
