On the occasion of Gamescom, BenQ saw things big for gamers by presenting in particular a monitor giant and a video projector.

The first is part of the MOBIUZ range with a huge 48″ panel, while the second promises gamers to see things even bigger. BenQ took the opportunity to present other MOBIUZ products as well as ZOWIE products, its e-sports sub-brand.

BenQ projects itself during Gamescom

First product presented by BenQ, the MOBIUZ EX480UZ monitor. As its name suggests, it displays a 48″ 4K OLED panel, with a refresh rate of up to 120Hz and an extremely fast gray-to-gray response time of 0.1ms.

It supports many technologies such as True Black HDR400, AMD FreeSync Premium and proprietary BenQ HDRi technology. It also has a KVM switch, treVolo speakers and can be fully configured via remote control. A product which is therefore aimed at wealthy players, since it is displayed at 1,999 euros, and equipped with a racing beast capable of running games in 4K.

The second notable product presented by the brand is the X3000i video projector, intended for gaming use. It is capable of projecting an image between 1080p at 240Hz and 4K at 60Hz, with a response time between 4ms and 33ms.

It also has HDR support and three modes optimized for different game genres. What offer a more cinematic gaming experience, in short. An experience that will however be paid for, since it is also displayed at 1,999 euros on the manufacturer’s website.

BenQ also presented two other more modest 27″ monitors, the EX270M and EX270QM, respectively equipped with an IPS FHD and QHD panel. The three MOBIUZ monitors will be available between September and October. The EX270 models will be priced respectively at 399 euro and 799 euro.
