(Boursier.com) — The 2023 turnover of Coil stands at 21.8 ME, down -18% compared to 2022 (26.7 ME). It is impacted by a difficult economic situation.

Despite the drop in turnover of -4.8 ME, Ebitda only decreased by -2.3 ME to reach 0.6 ME, or 2.6% of turnover. This development is mainly explained by:
– a smaller drop in gross margin, resulting from the favorable evolution of the product mix and a reduction in variable production costs, in particular energy costs in Germany, and
– higher operational costs in an inflationary context.

The contraction in volumes sold weighed significantly on current operating income, which decreased by 2 ME to show a loss of -2.1 ME (-0.1 ME in 2022).
Operating income shows a loss of -2.7 ME

The net result is negative -2.2 ME (-3 ME the previous year).

Net financial debt as of December 31, 2023 amounts to 5.2 ME (-0.9 ME compared to 2022), and remains reasonable by representing 24 % of equity (26% as of December 31, 2022).
