Garbage Pail Kids: Mad Mike and the Quest for Stale Gum, a game adapted from Crados announced on … NES

Mathieu le Dégueu, Aldo Supercrado, Laetitia Pudébras or Renée Morvenée, so many cult and repulsive characters who made the dirty brats of the 80s happy and aroused the incomprehension of parents. The Crados, these stickers to collect and exchange, conquered the playgrounds and there is no doubt that those who knew them at the time still keep fond memories of them. Well let them rejoicing, for The Crados are back in a video game scheduled for October 25. An NES game – also planned for PC, PS4, Xbox One and Switch – which its developers present as a project that should have materialized at the time given the popularity of these brats and that of the NES, but the meeting unfortunately never happened. Till today.

We guess by taking a look at the screenshots of this Garbage Pail Kids: Mad Mike and the Quest for Stale Gum that it will be a small action / platform game in the vein of productions of the time. The game’s Steam page tells us that it will have 4 playable characters, 6 levels and, unsurprisingly, a collectible card system. The collector’s edition signed iam8bit will ship an NES cartridge – functional, it goes without saying – offered in two color variants, an illustrated booklet and some exclusive maps of the Dirty in pixel art. An edition that smells like eighties and can already be pre-ordered.
