Garfield: French publisher Microids signs an agreement to develop 3 new games

Asterix, The Smurfs, Tintin, GrendizerMicroids plans to tackle many licenses from our childhood in the coming years. The next on the list has already been entitled to many adaptations with various concepts: it is Garfieldthe comic whose famous orange feline hero was recently added to Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl.

The French publisher has just signed an agreement with the beneficiary ViacomCBS Consumer Products to produce 3 games adapted from the franchise. They will explore “various genres”, “will be released gradually over the next few years” and will be distributed in France by Microids Distribution France. And that’s all we know for now.

Following our previous successful collaborations on games like Garfield: Wild Ride and Garfield Kart Furious Racing, we are proud to be trusted again by ViacomCBS Consumer Products on these three new games.”
