A last one before we go ? After releasing nearly a dozen connected watches and deploying several subsequent updates to enrich them with additional functions, Garmin is closing the year with a little surprise for its connected watch owners.

As reported by the site Android CentralGarmin has in fact made new dials available for its users, within its Connect IQ third-party application store, on the theme of Christmas, winter and the end-of-year holidays.

Four new dials are therefore offered: How to Decorate a Christmas Tree? (a Christmas tree), Would You Like to Build a Snowman? (a snowman), Ski All Day (a ski descent) and Golf in the Snow (with Santa Claus in a snowy landscape).

Each time, these are dials with an illustrated wallpaper that the user can personalize as they wish with the data they wish to display superimposed. On some, like Ski All Day, it is also possible to modify the shades of the illustration displayed in the background of the dial.

New dials regularly offered

Remember that Garmin is accustomed to seasonal dials. The American manufacturer regularly offers new watchfaces for its connected watches to download for free within the Connect IQ application. In addition to seasonal dials, such as those developed for the end-of-year holidays, Garmin also offers them on the theme of major races. This was particularly the case with a dial proposed for the 2023 Paris half-marathon, but also for the Run in Lyon a few months ago.

To download the Garmin dials developed at the end of the year, simply search for them directly in the Connect IQ application on your smartphone.
