Aldi’s online shop is currently offering four, ahem, three gas cooker models (the fourth is already sold out) from the Enders grill brand at reasonable prices. Gas cookers are not only suitable for camping holidays or as an additional cooker for barbecue parties in summer. The devices and the associated gas cartridges can be stored well, which turns out to be useful if the electric stove or the power supply should fail for a while.
One of the Enders models at Aldi is the Enders Dalgety 2 Z for 64.99 euros (to the ALDI ONLINESHOP deal). The gas cooker is equipped with two 2.3 kW burners and a chrome-plated, removable pan grid and can be operated with gas cartridges or a gas bottle. The ignition safety device allows safe operation indoors and on top of that there is a 3-year guarantee from the date of purchase. The Dalgety weighs 3.6 kilos and is somewhat larger with dimensions of 49 x 9 x 32 centimeters.
Our assessment of the Dalgety 2 Z gas cooker:
Although the device is not as cheap as the other models on offer, it has two burners and the ignition safety device ensures that you can also use the gas cooker safely in the caravan or in your kitchen. The Dalgety 2 Z is not so well suited for bike trips or camping due to its weight and unwieldy format.
