(Boursier.com) – Gaussin announces the signing of an official partnership with the Dakar, which makes the group a technological partner and a provider of clean solutions in terms of vehicle engines.
Gaussin thus adds the role of partner to that of demonstrator during the 2022 edition of the Dakar, next January. This partnership is part of the “Dakar Future” program, carried by Amaury Sport Organization, organizer of the Dakar and promoter of the World Rally-Raid Championship created by the FIA. With the signing of this partnership, Gaussin becomes a provider of clean solutions for the Dakar, at the service of the progressive decarbonization of a competition which aims to reinvent itself to make its contribution in the fight against climate change.
One year after announcing his presence on the Dakar on an experimental basis with a 100% hydrogen truck, for the 2022 edition, Gaussin is thus strengthening its links with the largest rally-raid in the world.
