GE: HA gas turbines reach a symbolic milestone


(CercleFinance.com) – GE Vernova’s Gas Power division celebrates an important milestone: its advanced fleet of H-class gas turbines has accumulated more than two million hours of commercial operation via 88 units around the world, reports GE.

This so-called ‘HA’ fleet is presented as ‘one of the most responsive and flexible in the industry’, allowing network operators to quickly distribute energy as a basis or in addition to renewable energy sources. intermittent.

The HA fleet now has an installed capacity of 47 gigawatts (GW) of energy, the capacity needed to power 35 million American homes.
