GE: Launches a joint venture with Montana Technologies


(CercleFinance.com) – GE Vernova and Montana Technologies are launching a joint venture to manufacture air conditioning and atmospheric water recovery products.

The 50/50 joint venture, named AirJoule, will exclusively manufacture and supply air conditioning and atmospheric water harvesting products in the United States, Africa and Australia.

AirJoule will combine GE Vernova’s proprietary absorbent materials and coating process with Montana’s patented process and system in various air conditioning components and water harvesting products, leveraging strategic partnerships with BASF, CATL, Carrier , the US Department of Energy and the Rice Investment Group.
