(CercleFinance.com) – GE Digital today announced the introduction of Autonomous Tuning, software that ensures gas turbine combustion is ideal, to reduce emissions and fuel consumption.
The software relies on machine learning and artificial intelligence (AI) to continuously identify the optimum flame temperatures and fuel distributions within the turbine and thus minimize polluting emissions and noise pollution.
GE says its software detects changes in ambient temperature, fuel properties and degradation, and sends real-time automatic adjustments to the controls every two seconds.
