on the Board of Directors of GECI INternational

GECI International, specialist in Digital and Technology, announces the appointment of Mr. Jean Noël HARDY to the Board of Directors of the Company, effective since December 16, 2021.

The Board of Directors of GECI International, meeting on December 16 under the chairmanship of Mr. Serge BITBOUL, has decided to co-opt Mr. Jean Noël HARDY as director of the Company.

His appointment strengthens the Board of Directors of GECI International with the mission of supporting the Company’s development strategy and the conquest of new international markets in areas presenting major challenges.

The appointment of Mr. Jean Noël HARDY will be subject to ratification at the next General Assembly of GECI International.

Following this appointment, the Board of Directors is now composed of 5 members, including 3 independent directors.

Biography

Born in 1951,

Mr Jean Noël HARDY

lives and works in São Paulo since 2004, after a first stay in Brazil from 1979 to 1991, in the service of Aerospatiale. Member of the Audit Committee of Helibras, Brazilian subsidiary of Airbus Helicopters, until 2019 and Foreign Trade Advisor of France for 9 years, he was also one of the Directors of the Department of Defense Industries of the FIESP ( São Paulo State Federation of Industries) for more than 8 years. He is also a founding and managing partner of the consulting company H3Partners and an associate of technological startups in São José dos Campos and São Paulo, particularly in the field of IoT. He is currently an elected member of the Board of Directors of the France Brazil Chamber of Commerce (CCFB) and a member of the Board of Governors of The American Society of São Paulo.

Previously, he was Director for Latin America of Astrium (which has since become Airbus Defense & Space), Director of Equatorial Sistemas SA from 2009 to 2015, and CEO of Helibras from 2004 to 2009, when he signed a contract for 50 Caracal helicopters (1.89 billion euros) with the Brazilian Ministry of Defense. At the same time, he sat on the Supervisory Board of the Abimde (Brazilian Association of Defense Material Industries). From 1975 to 2003, he held various technical, commercial and administrative positions in France and Brazil, in several “hi-tech” companies, including GECI International, mainly in the aeronautics, space and defense sectors.

Engineer from Supaero, he is also a graduate of ESSEC and Business Law (University ParisI- Panthéon Sorbonne). Knight of the Legion of Honor, he also received several Brazilian decorations.
