The Brazilian subsidiary, AS+ Do Brasil, continues its expansion and wins a new major contract with Ericsson, after listings obtained with Huawei and ZTE in 2020 and 2021
The GECI International Group, a specialist in Digital and Technology, announces new commercial success for its subsidiary AS+ Do Brasil, which has just won a significant new contract with Ericsson, one of the world’s leading suppliers of telecoms infrastructure and the one of the largest OEMs for 4G and 5G deployments in Brazil.
This contract represents estimated revenue of between 7 and 10 million Brazilian reals over two years (between 1.4 and 2 million euros), or more than 13% of the subsidiary’s annual revenue. It concerns the installation and commissioning of a 4G and 5G wireless network infrastructure to improve the availability of broadband in Brazil.
This success confirms the solidity of the Group’s positions in Brazil to seize the immense potential linked to the installation of entire fleets of telecommunications equipment or the extension of network coverage.
After listings with Huawei and ZTE obtained over the past two years, this new listing demonstrates the ability of the AS+ Do Brasil subsidiary to assert itself as a reference partner for the deployment of new digital technologies thanks to its technical expertise, a wide and cross-functional, high-quality international partners and close proximity to its customers.
This success also validates the new strategic positioning of the subsidiary and the evolution of its business model with the expansion of its offer of mobile network equipment installations, now including logistics.
With its professional teams of nearly 250 people, AS+ Do Brasil is one of the most important players in Brazil in this field and intends in the short term to expand its offer to new markets, such as intelligent equipment for smart cities.
