Like every Thursday, NVIDIA shares the list of games added to the catalog of GeForce NOWhis service of cloud gaming. But this week the manufacturer mainly publishes the 2.0.37 update of GeForce NOWwhich adds several new features and is available on televisions LGas already announced.
Here are the new features brought by this patch 2.0.37 of GeForce NOW :
- New resolution scaling options :
- AI Enhanced: Can be enabled while playing on PC with select NVIDIA GPUs and SHIELD TV; it uses a trained neural network model as well as image sharpening for a more natural look;
- Improved: offers better display quality than the standard version;
- Standard: Enabled by default, it has minimal impact on system performance.
- Customizations for streamers :
- Adjustments to certain streaming quality settings can now be made in-session using the in-game GeForce NOW overlay;
- Improved streaming experience on play.geforcenow.com for web by assigning ideal streaming resolution for devices that are unable to decode high streaming bitrate.
Regarding the integration of GeForce NOW in the TVs LG, NVIDIA specifies thatthese are the 4K OLED, QNED, NanoCell and UHD models launching in 2021the application is to be downloaded in the LG Content Store of the Smart-TV. Buyers of a compatible television, between March 1 and 27 and only in the United States, are even entitled to six months of priority subscription to the service of NVIDIA.
Finally, on the games side, six titles are added to the catalog of GeForce NOWhere they are :
- Mortal Online 2 (new release on Steam January 25);
- Daemon X Machina (free on theEpic Games Store from January 27 to February 3);
- Metro Exodus Enhanced Edition (Steam and Epic Games Store);
- Tropic 6 (Epic Games Store);
- Assassin’s Creed III Deluxe Edition (Ubisoft Connect).
