GENERALI COMPLETES THE ACQUISITION OF CRÉDIT AGRICOLE MEDICAL FOR 435 MILLION EUROS
MILAN (Reuters) – Generali announced on Tuesday an agreement to buy La Médicale, the health professional insurance subsidiary of Crédit Agricole Assurances (CAA), for 435 million euros.
The Italian insurer said it expected the operation to have a negative impact of around 4.3 percentage points on its solvency ratio.
Generali announced last November that it was in exclusive negotiations with Crédit Agricole for La Médicale, an operation which should be finalized this year.
