(CercleFinance.com) – Genomic Vision announced on Monday the appointment of Florence Allouche, a businesswoman specializing in the health sector, as chairman of its supervisory board following its last general meeting.

Doctor of Pharmacy and holder of an MBA from HEC Paris, Florence Allouche co-founded in 2016 and led SparingVision, a genomic drug company based on ophthalmic research at the Institut de la vision in Paris.

Her arrival follows the dismissal of Elisabeth Ourliac, who put an end to her duties as chairman of the supervisory board.

The General Shareholders’ Meeting also decided to dismiss Tammou Abikhzer and Stéphane Verdood from their terms of office as members of the Board of

surveillance.

Shareholders approved the appointments of Mohammad Afshar, the founder and CEO of Ariana Pharma, and Eric Edery, a financial adviser and venture capital fund partner, as independent members to replace them for a term of six years.
