Indeed, following the presentation livestream of version 2.8 of Genshin Impact, the miHoYo studio unveiled, via its official Twitter account, a short video presenting the new major area, which should soon be integrated into the title. It is the region called “Sumeru”which seems highly anticipated by the community.

For the moment, the official date for Sumeru’s arrival on Genshin Impact is not known. On the other hand, according to some leaks and information, there is a good chance that it will be introduced via the 3.0 update. By the way, the story around the Inazuma region seems to be about to end. Version 2.8 is expected for the month of July, so you will have to wait several more weeks to discover Sumeru.
