Genshin Impact: An animation series, in collaboration with Ufotable (Demon Slayer), is planned – Genshin Impact

Genshin Impact has already had the right to a manga adaptation. However, HoYoverse (formerly MiHoYo) does not intend to stop there and has planned to adapt the game according to a completely different format. Indeed, during the livestream presenting version 3.1 of the software, HoYoverse revealed that Genshin Impact will have the right to an animation seriesproduced in collaboration with the Ufotable studio (known for its work on the Demon Slayer anime).

On occasion, an early concept trailer was shared. This visual communication does not provide any real information about the story that will be told through the series but already shows the very good animation work of Ufotable. At the end of the video, we can see the mention “ long term project “. So, even though nothing has been confirmed yet, it is possible that several seasons are planned for the Genshin Impact anime series.

As of now, HoYoverse hasn’t given a release date or even a release window. As a result, we will have to wait for a new official communication from them to find out more about this. Of course, we’ll be sure to keep you posted as more information becomes available.

Remember that Genshin Impact can be found on PC, PS4, PS5 and iOS/Android devices.
