The Genshin Impact live presenting version 2.8 took place today and we invite you to come back to the announcements that have been made, including the one concerning the new hero who will be present.
Version 2.8 Characters
The live presents us with the first character highlighted during this update and it is the named Heizou which will make its debut. The latter will be accompanied by other heroes like Klee, Yoimiya or Kazuha.
Shikanoin Heizou
Heizou is a character that changes from the others since he will be a melee combatant with his fists and feet like a real melee fighter. Its peculiarity is above all thathe uses a catalyst to fight melee and so far we’ve had catalysts for remote characters.
Heizou will be a character who can inflict high damage Anemo thanks to his attacks and he will even have the ability to deal more elemental damage to enemies who find themselves affected by a Hydro, Electro, Pyro, or Cryo element with which he can therefore create a distortion reaction, for example thanks to his Anemo attacks. Among the blows he has, he can put a big punch charged with Anemo energy to hit an enemy or even execute a kick in the air which will create a gust hitting the enemies who are in the area of impact. behind him.
Version 2.8 Banners
In this live, we did not have any banners regarding weapons, but on the other hand, we know the 5-star rarity characters that will be present in the rotations of this version. First of all, we will have the right to two simultaneous wishes when the update launches on July 13. Here they are :
- Klee (5-Star Pyro, Catalyst)
- Kazuha (5-Star Anemo, One-Handed Sword)
Heizou will be a 4-star rarity character. available in banners. Subsequently, we have only one banner that has been put up and it will be for Yoimiya’s rerun which you can therefore try to recover in the second part of the update normally.
Events present in version 2.8
As with version 1.5, players will be able to discover a new thematic place where summer reigns. It will be the Archipelago of the Golden Apple. In it, you can take part in different activities. Some will ask you to face enemies with your team and others will offer you to play in cooperation with other players to achieve challenges as is the case for the one called “Reminiscent Exercise”.
This one will also offer you an activity where you will have to do boat races passing through checkpoints. You can also take part in a platform challenge where you will have to collect as many coins as possible.
Update 2.8 will bring you a new event style that changes as it will introduce an event that will ask you to place different cogs in order to complete puzzles.
The next event offered in this update will allow you toget a skin for the character of Fischl. The latter is called “Resonant Visions” and will offer you to collect special conches carrying tales and messages that will be useful to recover this outfit.
Diluc Event
Version 2.8 will allow you to participate in an event centered on Diluc for the arrival of his skin. This one will be available for purchase in the store and will offer new effects and a new idle animation. This event will ask you to face monsters and so you can know the story behind this outfit.
New quests present in version 2.8 of Genshin Impact
Version 2.8 will allow you to discover the first part of Kazuha’s story quest. Accompany him in the quest he will undertake. In the video that presents the quest to us, we could see Kazuha using a hammer for example or facing someone while brandishing his weapon. In addition, we also see a sword in one of the screenshots below which will surely be one of the keys to the quest. It will be necessary to wait until July 13 to begin this adventure and thus discover the story of the vagabond.
