George Clooney is responsible for cooking at home. And for a good reason, as the Hollywood star has now revealed.
Amal Clooney (45) is an internationally successful human rights lawyer and regularly steals the show from her famous husband on the world’s red carpets. Now George Clooney (62) has revealed what his wife is less talented at.
“I’d better do the cooking…”
At the premiere of his new film “The Boys in the Boat” in Los Angeles said the Hollywood star in an interview with “Extra”“My wife is a brilliant lawyer,” one of “the greatest in the world,” he added, then joked: “But I’d better do the cooking, otherwise we’ll all die.” The director and actor also revealed what the Clooney family has for the holidays: This year, he said, he will be making “a Christmas turkey,” similar to the one he made on Thanksgiving, according to the 62-year-old.
George Clooney is now just “the husband of…”
So while George Clooney sets the tone in the kitchen, his wife apparently has the better hand when it comes to fashion. At the film’s premiere in Los Angeles, Amal Clooney dazzled in a custom Versace spaghetti strap dress in bright yellow, while the actor appeared in a classic black suit with a navy shirt underneath.
“She beats everyone,” the 62-year-old enthused in an interview with “Entertainment Tonight”: “I’m always embarrassed because I’m wearing something that I’ve worn a thousand times,” he explained, joking that his entire career is now reduced to the fact that he is his wife’s companion. According to the actor, he recently had to introduce himself as “Amal Clooney’s husband.”
Next year will be the Clooneys’ tenth wedding anniversary
George and Amal Clooney got engaged in spring 2014 and married in Venice in September of that year. They are parents to six-year-old twins Ella and Alexander, who were born in June 2017.
