Former Bond actor George Lazenby is back home after a fall. A scar reminds us of the accident.

George Lazenby, 84, is on the mend. As his management only recently announced, the Australian suffered a head injury in a fall at his home in November. Now the one-time James Bond actor is back home after a stay in a nursing home in Los Angeles.

Lazenby’s manager Anders Frejdh posted on X the positive news. He also shared a picture in which he is posing beamingly next to his client. Lazenby sits up in bed and smiles. A long scar can be seen on his forehead.

“It’s not easy growing old,” wrote Anders Frejdh, “but at 84, George has certainly proven what a fighter he is.” In June of this year, Frejdh had to deny fake news circulating that Lazenby had died.

George Lazenby played James Bond in 1969’s On Her Majesty’s Secret Service, for the first and only time. The Australian recently attracted negative headlines. He is said to have bragged about his conquests in questionable ways.

George Lazenby apologized after the shitstorm via Twitter. “I’m sorry and saddened to hear that my stories may have offended some people in Perth on Saturday,” Lazenby said in his post. He said it was never his intention to make hurtful or homophobic comments.
