This is perhaps why the comedian chose the premiere of his film to return to the comments made by the interpreter of Obélix (remarks relayed by Tele-Leisure): “I think many of you have seen some pretty shocking images,” he declared, adding: “Obviously, I fully comply with justice, he was offensive, aggressive. Kev Adams has publicly chosen to support Gérard Depardieu, at least while respecting his presumption of innocence. However, if this could have been accepted by part of the public, other comments on the talent and career of the actor risk provoking reactions : “I didn’t witness that, I didn’t see it with my own eyes“, he explained, specifying : “Yes, I have a lot of love for this guy and I think it’s a very, very big one.” He concludes by expressing his most sincere wishes to his friend, while emphasizing that he will side with justice: “And I hope everything goes well for him and if this is not the case, it is because justice will have decided otherwise because it will certainly be justified and deserved. But for now, I wish him the best.
