German Television Award 2024
The decision is made by a predominantly female expert jury
The German Television Prize 2024 will be awarded in Cologne in September. The organizer has announced the date and the jury members.
Jana Pareigis new to the expert jury
The members of this year’s independent expert jury have also been announced. New to the jury are the Hamburg journalist and ZDF news presenter Jana Pareigis (42), the producer Ute Biernat (64, including “DSDS, “Bauer sucht Frau”, CEO UFA Show & Factual) and Eva Schubert (Program Manager, Editor-in-Chief Sat .1).
As in the previous year, the two actresses Valerie Niehaus (49, “Next Exit Happiness”), Collien Ulmen-Fernandes (42, “The Dream Ship”) and the Cologne presenter and author Shary Reeves (54, “Wissen macht Ah”) also decide on the nominations !”). The following experts are also on board: producer Nanni Erben (50, including Dresden “Tatort”, managing director of MadeFor Film) and Milena Seyberth (CvD in the ZDF directorate).
The eight women are joined by six men. The job is also new for author David Ungureit (60, “Danni Lowinski”). Dr. Dr. had already decided on the nominations last year. Since 2019 and again this year, producer Wolf Bauer (74, “Der Medicus”) has been leading the expert jury in this committee, which this time is made up of a majority of women.
