Four bullet holes were discovered on Friday (November 18th) on the walls of the rabbi’s living quarters in the Essen synagogue in Germany, according to police, an act condemned by the government as a “offensiveagainst the Jewish community.
The police in Essen, North Rhine-Westphalia, were alerted by witnesses who discovered these impacts caused by a firearm. The front door of the rabbi’s accommodation was targeted, according to preliminary elements of the investigation. No injuries are reported. The police also searched with dogs for possible explosives. And they use CCTV footage.
