Germany: sharp decline in trade surplus in February


(CercleFinance.com) – The German foreign trade balance shows a surplus of 21.4 billion euros in February 2024, according to data adjusted for seasonal and calendar variations from Destatis, compared to a surplus of 27.6 billion recorded in January.

Germany exported goods worth a total of 132.9 billion euros and imported goods worth 111.5 billion euros in February, amounts respectively down 2% and up 3.2%. compared to the previous month.
